Antifreeze Valve
FAR
Description
The FAR antifreeze valve provides a reliable alternative to glycol-based protection in hydronic heating systems. Designed to protect water circuits from freezing, the valve incorporates an internal temperature sensor that automatically activates at approximately +3°C.
When the sensor detects this temperature, the valve opens and drains water from the system, preventing ice formation that could damage pipework, heat exchangers, and other critical components. This automatic mechanical operation requires no external power supply, ensuring dependable freeze protection even during power outages.
Ideal for heat pump installations in regions where sub-zero temperatures may occur, the FAR antifreeze valve helps reduce the risk of costly freeze-related failures and system downtime. For effective operation, the valve should be installed at the lowest point of the circuit. For external use only.
